Richard also cleaned up in the 13 - 16 year classes, winning them all, cooking, painting, photography,

Class: 41 'Garden News' Top Vase.
Ken Rippengale won the 'Top Vase', competition for this exhibit, only ten stems allowed
of mixed flowers and is judged from all directions. Delphiumum as center piece, surrounded by Alstroimerias, Collerette Dahlia 'Fashion Monger' and Penstemons.

Class: 41 'Garden News' Top Tray.
In the Vegetable section. YaptonGardeners Michael Paradine won a high number of placings with his vegs, collected a First for his collection of three types of vegetables. Malcolm won the Allotment Cup for the fourteenth time this year every time since the show started.
The thumb image has Malcolm holding his Second placed marrow his best one is still under wraps at home, awaiting its debut at the Rustington Pumpkin and Marrow evening.

Eric Norrell with just one of his many Dahlia exhibits. This new variety help him to win the R.T.Page Cup and both Silver and Bronze Dahlia Society Medals.

Class 24. 1 Vase annuals, 5 stems of one or more varieties grown from seed in the previous 12 months. (excluding African Marigolds and Asters).
This class description takes so longer to read and understand, that the seeds are grown and pass their best before you finished. But Mick Marshall produced this fine vase of Zinnias to win this class. Pity about the Shallots Mick. .

New YaptonGardener member Wendy Milton, won this class with her waterlily dahlia 'Ruby Taratahi' and large onion. While husband Sid won the large onion class.

Class 102. One Granary Loaf, made with yeast.
Carol Humphrey won in the domestic section with this well balanced loaf. Always ensure that the yeast whether fresh or instant is not stale as the heavy texture of granary flour can be difficult to rise. Carol won the 'Cuff Miller Cup' for most points in domestic classes.
