Cakes and Biscuits.

 Cherry and Ginger Cake.  - Quick fruit cake, David's combining of cherries and ginger.
 Date and Walnut loaf.  -  another quick fruit loaf from David, this time Date and walnut for sweetness with a crunch.
 Jamaican fruit loaf.  - David's banana loaf. A taste of Jamaican, rich and spicy.
 Low fat fruit loaf.  - Quick fruit loaf, for those on a low fat diet using any mix of dried fruit.
 Rhubarb and apple tart.  - Spring time treat, use young tender rhubarb, mixed with bramley cooking apples.
 Victoria Sponge.  - This traditional recipe is to the YaptonsGardeners Show rules.
 Eccles Cakes.  - This is another traditional recipe and is suitable to YaptonsGardeners Show rules.

Preserves.

 Rhubarb&Orange jam  -  Sweet jam made from early rhubarb. Orange for that luxury taste.
 Rhubarb&Apple jam  - Good cheap jam made from early rhubarb. add ginger for an extra kick.
 Lemon curd  - Recipe for this popular curd.
 Strawberry and apple jam  - Fresh early summer strawberries used in this jam, the apples adding the essential pectin to obtain a soft textured set..
 Sussex fruit chutney  - Good exhibition mild chutney, can be made any time of the year.

 Sussex pasty.  - This traditional Sussex recipe is to the YaptonsGardeners Show rules. It was carried by the Yapton smugglers, in the 18th century (allegedly).
